And They're Off ....to Learn Amazing River Facts.
We've had a busy week this week with Josh & Justin going to VBS and Will & I getting some one-on-one time. After my friend picked up the big boys one day this week, Will said to me, "Mommy, I just want to lay on the couch and cuddle with you."
It's weird that he has never really been alone with me. It's also weird how easy it is with just one kid at home. When school starts, little man & I are going to be making up for some lost one-on-one time and I can't wait!
Anyhooo, we're off today for a long weekend by the Comal River in New Braunfels. A few fact about the Comal:
- It is Texas's shortest river (3 miles long).
- It takes 2 hours to float the whole thing.
- It maintains a cool 72 degrees year round.
- It's spring-fed. So it's crystal clear!
That's all I know. I know I was setting you up for disappointment acting like I know a lot of amazing fact about the river. Maybe I'll come home with some more. Or maybe not. I know something I will have...PICTURES! So stay tuned... or not.

You taught me something, I didn't know any of that. They didn't teach us that in 7th grade Texas history...and 2 hours to float the Comal is an imporant fact!
