Houston Zoo!
I'm officially zoo ed out for the summer! It's a much kinder, simpler place to visit in the winter. Much too hot now. It is across the street from the hospital. So it was too convenient to pass up. So... I volunteered?! I don't know how I got talked into it. Here's how it went down.5 kids and I...yes FIVE! Did I mention I took FIVE kids by myself to the zoo? Okay, it wasn't that bad. IF you don't mind 100+ degrees & a bunch of stinky animals. Okay, the kids didn't stink that bad. I'm sure that I did by the end of the day though.

They had this cool tube tunnel thing that went through the middle of an aquarium. We could have spent all day there. They went through it about 25 times. It was air-conditioned in there so I wasn't too dizzy & annoyed. Here are 4 of the FIVE.
Both the "lelephant" and the giraffe had babies.
Here are all FIVE sitting in a nest trying to hatch eggs.(it didn't work)
Someone really wanted baby birds to come out of those eggs. (it still didn't work)
Goats!
Will is trying to pinch the goat's little bitty horns here.
Prairie Dogs
Petting a croc. I think this lady thought I wanted a picture of her.
All FIVE. Somebody in pink doesn't look very happy.
Goodbye fair zoo. We will see you again some day. (not soon)
