Fabulous Lake Travis
Last weekend, we rented this house on Lake Travis with our good friends the Molls (Nancy, Lance, Cady, Ross & Audrey). It was amazingly beautiful & fun. We took off on Thursday with the boat of course. We spent the next 3 days soaking in the sun, swimming, tubing, skiing, wake boarding, fishing, cooking & well...drinking! We can not wait until next year. We need a couple more days though. It went by way too quickly & we weren't ready to leave when it was time to go.

This is the view from the path. The house was on 4 acres. We saw a deer on the driveway. It was a bit of a hike down to the water, but we didn't mind. It actually helped us keep the little kids from going down there.

Here are Nancy & Lance. I have to proclaim...they are hardcore. We turned in way earlier than they did every night. The water, the sun, the swimming wore me out! Okay...I'm just making up excuses. They are just way awesomer than we are.

This is Boyd's happy place. He is happiest sitting right there on his boat, drink in hand, watching the sunset.

They're are off to tube. This was Audrey's first time tubing! She liked it.

We ate at a great restaurant on the lake called Johnny Fins. The food was fabulous & the view was even better. The kids fed the fish & ducks.

I love this shot. That's Audrey in the middle. She's Will's best friend. So cute!

Justin can fly!! (he just forgot his cape)

Josh & Ross- too cool. Josh is making the same weird face in both of these shots. I think it's because he has a tooth that is barely hanging on in the front.

My littlest pumpkin had so much fun! Yes, that is a shiner on his forehead. He fell off a skateboard that somehow got into the house when we were packing to go to the lake. That skateboard is now in a landfill somewhere.

We did a little night swimming.

Here are Cady & her friend Sarah. They're 14. 14 year old girls are fascinating.

a note to Lance- WE WILL CATCH THAT GIANT CATFISH NEXT YEAR- IF I HAVE TO SLEEP ON THE DOCK WITH ONE EYE OPEN!
