Will & G.G. & Christmas!
My mom, sister (Heather) and Heather's kids (Grant & Whitney) came to stay with us the week of Christmas. My mom brought her dog G.G. Will would not leave her alone. Bless her heart, she was probably so happy to leave this house of dog-deprived boys.

Oh what the heck... While we're at it, Christmas morning was crazy, fun chaos! I'm totally bad about taking good pictures on Christmas morning because I'm busy cutting wires & putting in batteries. Here are some of the not-so-good pictures.
I don't know who was more excited about the 3 giant nerf machine guns that Santa brought.

Josh rockin' his bedhead.

Nothing like chocolate at 6:30a.m.

Talk about bed head. Miss Whitney is sure sporting some.

Oh my... she's going to love me for this one. G-man scored this Christmas!
Somebody got his first bike! Toy Story no less. That was one happy boy!

See...bad pictures. You didn't even know that Nani (my mom), Boyd's sister Shannon and her son Christopher were there too. We really did have a tree up and a full set of matching stockings hung by the chimney with care. Also, I was there! My kids won't even get to appreciate it when they look back that I woke up at 5 am, took a shower, got fully dressed with make-up and hair, baked cinnamon rolls from scratch all before they got up at 6:30am. Or maybe I rolled over, put on my glasses and slippers then shoved a pan of frozen cinnamon rolls in the oven before giving them the okay to come downstairs.

Whatever they remember, I just hope that they know the real reason we celebrate Christmas. Far more important than the cool gifts and nice decorations. The real reason is Jesus.
