Will's Wild & Wacky Week!

Will has had let's just say interesting week. It all started last Saturday night. Will, Justin & Josh were in my room watching a movie. They started horsing around (of course) and he flopped off the bed on his head. I kept him up and watched him for a few hours & he was fine. The next morning he woke up vomiting! EEK. So I call the pediatrician and they tell me to take him to the ER. After being there for 5 HOURS the doctors inform me that it was just a coincidental stomach bug. (this was the only time in my life I have prayed for a stomach bug) No concussion or anything! Thank God!

Fast forward to Thursday: I picked Will up from school on Thursday & noticed a few little bites on his arm. The looked like ant bites. Boyd & I talked about it at dinner & decided I needed to call the school & tell them they must have an ant pile on the playground. A little while later I noticed the ant bites were started to spread...everywhere. CHICKENPOX. The doctor pretty much confirmed it the next day. He said it could be Hand,Foot & Mouth disease, but it most likely was the chickenpox. He said that if new patches broke out and the existing ones scabbed over then it was the chickenpox. If it all disappeared at the same rate, it was H,F&M disease. Today he has some new patches and some new scabs. Chickenpox. Oh yeah, yes, he was vaccinated at his one year old check-up.

Last night: Will potty trained himself a couple months after he turned two. (lucky me!) So he hasn't worn pull-ups to bed for a while now. So last night a couple hours after I put him to bed, I heard him crying. I went upstairs in a rush to see what was going on. I didn't grab my glasses... I walk into his room & see him standing up in his bed, pants down peeing on the floor! I actually didn't see the peeing since I'm so blind without my glasses but I realized it when I walked right into the stream!!!! I try not to scream since the rest of the house is sleeping, but I can't help it.... I can laugh about it today.

So...tomorrow my baby turns three. He has grown so much!
