Easter Happened! Jesus is ALIVE!

We had a great Easter weekend. We started the weekend on Good Friday with a crawfish boil! (no picts were taken...too busy peeling & eating). It was a fabulous evening with a bunch of great friends, 40 lbs. of crawfish, 5 lbs of shrimp, potatoes, corn, mushrooms, sausage & lots of adult beverages. See no time for photography.

Saturday was the best boating day of the year thus far! 85 degrees & sunny. Loved it!

On Sunday the Easter bunny left a trail of candy & eggs from the boys' room (yes, they all share a room- not because of a lack of room, but because they WANT to, another story for another day) to their Easter buckets. Again- no pictures. I was barely awake at 6:45am when they came running downstairs screaming. The Easter bunny was up late making Easter happen & she hoped that they would slept past 7 or 8 or even 9 would have been great. So no pictures exist.

(I just realized I make a lot of excuses for my shortfallings as a mom. At least I'm a realist right? It's all rainbows, cupcakes & roses over here....)

So they had some cool activities at church for the kids: a petting zoo, bounce houses, the REAL Easter Bunny. The boys love it! After church we went to the Godwin's house for lunch & egg hunts. PICTURES WERE TAKEN!  Get ready 'cause there are a bunch of 'em.

And then there were the cascarones. (confetti filled eggs) Tim bought each of them a dozen!

After all the eggs were cracked. It was Fun With Dad time!

So there we have Easter! Making progress....making progress.
