A Long Weekend at LBJ!

We went to the Marriott Horseshoe Bay Resort on Lake LBJ for a long weekend last weekend. The lake was still closed when we headed over there, so we went sans the boat. Nani & Poppa met us! We had a great time!

The little boys loved the baby pool.

Josh appeared occasionally at the baby pool. He made a buddy from Dallas & they hung out in the big pool & hot tub most of the time.

Justin entered himself in the poolside hula hoop contest!

They have this amazing putting golf course. It's not really putt putt. It's a par 72 putting course that is just beautiful with waterfalls and flamingos and other tropical birds. Justin kept screaming, "I gotta birdie!" It was cute.

We took a lot of walks while we were there. This is at the Yatch club over on the lake. They had an incredible pool and beach area. It's hard to tell anything in these pictures because it was dark, but it is really nice.

This is the golf course again. We walked through it and watched the sunset. So beautiful.The sky looked so cool I had to take a picture. I'm a dork.

They also have a Japanese garden on the grounds of the resort. We walked through there after the sun set.

Throughout the garden they have faces in the water. They totally freaked Josh out. In an effort to distract Josh from them, I told him to look under the bridge for snakes & frogs not realizing that they had faces under the bridge too with a light on it. (Bad mommy)
