Josh Plays Baseball!

We made the mistake of putting Josh in soccer when he was barely 3. We couldn't wait for him to play sports so we pushed it. He didn't understand why the other kids weren't sharing the ball & why they kept stealing it from him. lol. Needless to say he didn't really want to play anything for a long time after that. He started with football last year, played 3 seasons-liked it, was good at it, etc. This spring,though, we gently nudged him toward baseball. He totally loves it. I think he has truly found "his sport."

I love this shot- color is not great because I was on the other side of the fence & you can sort of see shadows of the chain links, but it is just so sweet. Boyd helped coach a little & he was congratulating J. on the double he just hit. (they didn't know I was taking their picture)

These fields remind Boyd of the fields he played on when he was a kid.

He played catcher during a few games.
