Happy New Year!
The holidays were a bit of a blurr for us! One or all of us have been sick since Thanksgiving. I haven't had time to blog while trying to remember who gets what medication & cleaning up after sick little people. We've had stomach bugs, croup (which required a hospital stay for Will), ear infections, sore throats, and stomach bugs again all between Thanksgiving and New Years. Hopefully we are all well now & we have built strong immunities for a healthy new year.
I have to say something about 2006. Wow! What a year. It started out with Boyd's company closing in early January without warning. A week later (Jan. 11) little Will was born. It was nice that Boyd got to be home with us for a few weeks. Then February 1st he started his new job in San Antonio. (He is still working for J&J it's just a different division.) The next few months were rough with Boyd in San Antonio during the week & the kids and I in Kingwood trying to sell the house. Luckily the company decided to buy us out and June 1st we were all in San Antonio together. As with any move we spent a few months adjusting to everything; especially not having family around to help out with the kids. But now, we really love San Antonio! We've made some nice friends, Josh loves his school, and Boyd's job is going really well. I feel like through all the hard times this year we've grown closer as a family & I know now that we can survive anything!! Don't get me wrong, we've had a ton of fun this year too! It's highlighted in this blog. Look at the archives if you haven't already. Some of our best memories have been on Canyon Lake , Sea World, the football field, but most of all with family & friends. So make it a priority to come visit San Antonio this year!
Here are the pictures I took between illnesses this holiday season.
On a Quest for a Christmas card picture! Yeah- this was fun.

Will just loved taking everything he could reach off of the tree!

That is Boyd on the roof. He spent about 8 hours trying to rig a sleigh with reindeer to the the roof. They kept falling over. So he bought a different one and got it up there... then the lights on it wouldn't work. It became comical. He was more disappointed than the kids. He has vowed that next year- there will be Santa, his sleigh & reindeer on the roof. AND so help him- he will win the community lights contest!

Here's one of Justin skiing or belly surfing behind their little truck. They have so much fun pulling eachother around. Justin has gotten pretty good at driving. This was Will's first ride. He wasn't sure what to think.

We made it (although barely) to Aunt Sally & Uncle Pebo's Annual Christmas party in Fort Worth. Sally always arranges something for the kids to do. This year they got to decorate giant gingerbreadmen. They were so cute & they smelled great. Here is Josh with his masterpiece.

Justin & Loryn with their works art.

This blog is running slow so I'll post more pictures tomorrow.
